Chasing Foxfire is a podcast about folklore. It is also about insect collections, national monuments, apple pie recipes, the American Civil War, pine-scented house cleaner, jars full of buttons, cardboard suitcases, riots in Brooklyn, carved wooden chains, jellybeans, wishbones, and cowboy hats. In short, it’s a show about history, with an emphasis on the “story” part of the word.
